Soil Infiltration Testing

A Soil Infiltration test is designed to measure the 1-dimensional (vertical) capacity of water to drain into the underlying soil. This is most often used for the design of stormwater management systems, such as retention and detention basins and underground stormwater systems. There are numerous methods used across the country to obtain this information.
